Porsche 1978 911 SC Retro Backdate

Description: We have back dated a 911 SC to the early elegant & sharp SWB look and thought it would make a change from your usual RS/RSR backdates so regularly seen today. The car has had the wider SC arches removed and replaced with the early aesthetically crisper narrow bodied arch. The front inner bonnet closing (slam) panel has been changed to the early type so the correct earlier long bonnet could be fitted. After the appropriate bodywork changes the car was then re-sprayed in its original colour of Silver. Whilst the car was being prepared we rebuilt the engine, removed all the heavy emission injection system and installed Weber type PMO carburettors. Also the exhaust system has been replaced with the much more efficient(+more power) earlier stainless steel system. The interior of the car is finished with a lightweight carpet set (black) and boasts replica Recaro period seats in vinyl and houndstooth . The suspension and brake systems have been completely refurbished and rebuilt. We replaced the old shock absorbers with brand new Sport Bilsteins , removed the spring plates, arms, anti roll bars and had them powder coated. We also replaced and uprated the appropriate bushings. The brake calipers were reconditioned so are as good as new. Finally we totally rebuilt the 915 gearbox so those gear changes are crisp and tight. The car has been MOT'd and has gone through it's final road tests and has covered only around 200 miles since the rebuild was completed
