Tuesday, November 15, 2005 - NOVEMBER UPDATE
At the beginning of November we said goodbye to Parts Manager, Tom Falcon, who had battled the traffic between Henley and Oxford for over a year but eventually made the decision to work nearer to home. We wish Tom every success with Alfa Aid in Maidenhead and are still in touch on all things Alfa.
Julian Bounds is our new Parts Manager, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge both from an engineering perspective and as the owner of two Italian cars - yes, an Alfa and a Fiat! Julian will ensure your orders are dealt with in the same efficient manner as his predecessor - so give him a call to find that elusive part or order the usual favourite for Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat or Lancia.
The competition season has now come to a close and we have some customer cars in for end of season overhaul.
After being off the road for 3 years, Graham Franklin's well known metallic gun-metal grey 1000 TC is undergoing an extensive refurbishment for its new owner and it is hoped that this project will be complete by the end of November. It will be great to see this car out and about again at events in 2006.
Talking of Graham Franklin, I understand that as he has now finally found the missing right-hand door mirror for his 131 Volumetrico - he has run out of excuses not to take the car on the road so that should be around again next year!
December is nearly here - don't forget that we stock a variety of Abarth badges, stickers, accessories, together with more serious hardware, some of which might be a little tricky to fit into a stocking! Order now to avoid disappointment.
More next month....
